Artificial Eye on 'Trishna' rights
LONDON -- Brit indie distrib Artificial Eye has clicked on up U.K. and Irish rights for Michael Winterbottom's "Trishna." Pic, starring Freida Pinto and Riz Ahmed, can be a contempo re-imagining of Thomas Hardy's "Tess in the D'Ubervilles" occur India, that notifies the story in the boy from the wealthy property developer who begins a troubled relationship while using daughter from the autorickshaw owner.
